S1-EP4: Inerrancy, Inspiration and Authority

This time on the Split Frame of Reference Podcast, Jarrod (from episode three), myself and newcomer Garrett Sandeen (a fellow Fuller student and nerd) talk about Scripture, inerrancy and authority.

Its a lively conversation that is sure to inspire a lively response especially since we talk about interpretive methods and how we ought to think about Scripture as Sacred. Some goods that we recommend could include the work of John Goldingay, Richard Hays and I. Howard Marshall. Maybe N.T. Wright as well.

I must say that this was among some of my favorite seminary moments. A genuine, dynamic conversation. I hope you feel the same. :)

Enjoy!

S1-EP3: Evangelicals and the Magisterium

Well, its that time of the month. Jarrod Phipps and I chat about theology, fundamentalism, Oliver Crisp and our story as beginning students at Fuller Theological Seminary. Of special note are our musings about what - or who - constitutes an Evangelical.

We don't quite come to any conclusions (spoiler alert) but we talk more about Bebbington's Quadrilateral than most so that's a start.

Of course, Fuller does not endorse everything we say or believe.

Enjoy. If you can. :)

You can find Jarrod at Twitter.

S1-EP2: Husband and Wife

In this episode, my wife and I talk about marriage stuff.

This includes our long-distance relationship, phone troubles, and a little bit of advice for others.

Oh, and we talk about some reasons why I took her last name.

Enjoy.

S1-EP1: An Epistolary Frame of Reference

As with all opening episodes, this one is mostly boring and autobiographical. I discuss some broad outlines for this episode and have on a very special guest for the second half. Enjoy.

Thanks in advance for dealing with my novice self.
